You Worship Your Lords I Worship Mine

It was one of the best Football Club in Islamabad. This Football club used to see players come later than other Football grounds mainly because in this ground all the business professionals and executives used to play after office timings. Practice used to carry on much later after dusk i.e. Maghrib prayers. The team was a fine amalgamation of youngsters and oldies. Age ranging from 16 to 50.

There was a guy who was an excellent footballer and a human being. Most of the time he was silent on the pitch and all his attention remain on his game. He was lightening fast and an emphatic finisher. But he had the habit of sneaking out approximately 5 minutes before calling for prayer (Azan) to a nearby mosque and after offering Namaz resume training. The club management was upset about this fact and was weighing up their options to confront him one day.

On the very next day as soon as he was about to leave the ground; game halted, players gathered, and coaches accompanied by senior players questioned his commitment about the game. He said that we could start the game much earlier tomorrow and finish it before Namaz. This argument upset the management and they said we cannot do this as our office timings demand this tight schedule to follow and quite frankly we are not changing timing just because of you. And if you do not abide by the timing fully you're welcome to leave the club. Just leave the ground today and you may never come back to play again for this club. What do you say? And folks his response was legendary, "You worship your lords at the offices I worship mine in the mosque". He said this with such calm that everybody went dead silent and he hurriedly walked towards mosque.

Indo-Pak Cricket Series Boycott

Tough call for many but yes I am doing it. Frankly speaking every Pakistani should do a boycott of this series in context to what happened with Pakistani Blind Cricket Team captain in India. As the moment I am writing I feel so free, so buoyant, and so ecstatic that words cannot define this feeling and also I am out of words but this feeling is incontestably supreme that I have not felt in years. This is the feeling of breaking free of these unseen chain of viewership. I did not watch the game and believe me nothing bad happened to me. Everything is working as normal as routine. I did not get nerve attack which I am certain to get after watching out team play in past. I would have been watching as enthusiastically as I did each time for this particular fixture had it not been the case of vicious attack on our captain a few week ago. So it is not like I do not watch Cricket. Even Ehsan Mani said, "Pakistan should not tour India."

"I think the PCB is wrong to have agreed to this. If it is a political decision, then the PCB should have asked the politicians to make sure that India reciprocated by coming and playing against Pakistan even if it was at a neutral venue," Mani said in an interview on 'Pakpassion.net' website.

I believe that if all of us decide to stand up against this false system we can overcome the facades of this system. Unity of people can bring down any system. But as depicted in Matrix we are so inert so hopelessly dependent on the system that we would fight anything that is helping us to get out of this vicious system.

Today is 25th December and I lay my humblest tribute to Jinnah. May God be pleased with him. I have not much to say seriously but I have got nothing but utmost respect for the great man who gave us this wonderful country than and now mere pieces of lands. He famously said, "failure is a word unknown to me". I bet that he expected not all but many of us to be like him but we collectively failed him. Sorry Mr. Jinnah!

Gulfam's Birthday

I feel terrible about missing out on Gulfam's birthday and the worst part I called him and talked routine talk. Shit!!! The bro must have picked up phone with the belief that I called him for wishing birthday and I did not. Anyways I was reminded once I disconnected the call in a lofty manner. Fully deserved.

But I have come up with something that did not only made me feel better but also will calm once he reads my blog. The Bro Code Article 52 states: A Bro is not required to remember another Bro's birthday, though a [good luck] call every now and again probably wouldn't kill him. I rest my case.

Although we do not share the same month yet we do share a same date which is 24. I would like to extend my heartiest wishes to this special bro and would greet him with my trademark birthday greetings, "May life treats you as her son in law for many years to come". In our society a son in law for a mother in law is as dear as Israel to America. For girls I wish otherwise. God I come up with a lot of good stuff.

Have a blasting whatever time you have left bro. Bear witness with me that belated birthday will be celebrated.

Movie Recommendation

Folks, I am going to recommend an amazing and most inspiring movie ever. At least I learned a lot from this movie. It helped me asking myself some questions that every individual should be asking to oneself. Someone said, "the man who does not think of himself does not think at all."

The movie is called Network. It is an old yet an awe inspiring movie. The movie was released in 1976. The story involves a fictional TV network, UBS, and its struggle with poor audience ratings. Howard Beale, a long serving but underfire anchor has two more weeks in the office. Beale on live TV claims he is going to commit suicide and gets fired immediately after his proclamation but Max Schumacher, news division president and Beale's friend intervenes and so that Beale can have a dignified departure. Beale promises that he will apologize for his emotional outburst but instead he raves that life is 'bullshit'. Beale's grandiloquence results in an overnight rating hike. Reinstated as anchor, he is now being hailed as 'mad prophet' as he galvanizes the nation by shouting his famous phrase out of their windows, "I am as mad as hell, and I am not going to take this anymore!". (well, I had the same feeling about Malala conspiracy dragged on for months) But his speeches do not match with the interests of UBS both ideologically and rating wise. So he comes undefire once again and silenced forever on the very show he used to inspire audience.

Please do watch this mini marvel and leave your thoughts in comments. Thank you!

Media Hypocrisy

Shame on our channels for broadcasting substandard and vulgar Indian Dramas. Shame on the viewers who follow this nonsense. I am a grown ass man and still I cannot watch even some of Pakistani dramas with my family. Why on earth so much coverage to those and their culture who cannot be our friends ever? Geo is the worst TV Channel. Musharraf did a lot of bad things but when he put a ban on Geo I saluted him. Have you ever seen Pakistani dramas on Indian TV Channels? Their media molests the image of Pakistan in any way you can think of but we cannot wait to shake hands and welcome them on our soil. We cannot wait to start this new 'friendly' Cricket series. When they attacked on Pakistani Blind Team captain we could have left the tournament and should have returned home but we did not because our leadership is weak and we are a weak nation. They banished international Cricket in Pakistan by using there influence and we cannot wait to 'reply opponents on the pitch.' Their dramas offer you nothing more than vulgarity, sex, adultery, and domestic turmoil and treacheries. Now Pakistani dramas are using same strategies. What I am watching is highly disturbing to me and I am highly angered and frustrated by these media pigs.

I have no issue if someone watches Indian movies and dramas individually but TV makes mass opinion and this is unacceptable to every sane Pakistani. Take a critical look around this hypocritical world of media. Geo has hired the most fraudulent bastards in their ranks. Dunya has had media bitches like Mubasshar Luqman and Mehar Bukhari. The list goes on and on. So far I found Express a better channel among the rest but it is like picking bad among the worst.

If you're thinking that any channel will tell you the truth then please open your eyes because this is never going to happen. YOU and only YOU can make a difference because TV is not the truth and truth will never come out on this TV because when you speak truth this happens. (Video of a brave American sister who spoke in favor of Pakistani people and other countries against American barbarianism) see for yourself that how brutally she is being silenced by champions of 'Freedom of Speech/Expressions'

I salute this American sister's Bravery and condemn the acts of authorities for silencing her and the dragging away of a an unarmed innocent woman. But wait a minute most of you have not seen it on any TV channel even on Pakistani ones. When you can watch Miss Universe's news and Mayan End of World shit then above video definitely deserve a news slot but it did not. Why? Because their masters did not want us to see this video. I think it is a known fact that these Pakistani News Channels are funded by America and supporters of one world government.

I have decided to write emails to these news and entertainment stations of Pakistan. Please help me with your thoughts and topics you may want to include. Thank you!

P. S. Above video might not work as Youtube has not been working since quite sometime in Pakistan. But it is a must watch and softwares like HotSpot Shield can help you.

It is Good to be Back

Dear all, I am back at home after my joyful visit to Islamabad the Beautiful. I love this city a lot. Very calm and quiet. I could not write much during my visit but here I am back to the duty. During my visit I met with many people I love. Family, friends, and university buddies. Feeling very nostalgic right now. December has something that made you feel sad and happy at the same time. I do not know how to express this irresistible feeling.

Today I am feeling homesick despite I am in my home. When I left for MBA Programme many people claimed it is your first time out of house. You would live in a hostel and would miss your home like anything. Guess that was not the case. Also it surprised me. My first visit to home was after two months and second at the semester break. I remember coming home after a full 2nd semester (4 months). I settled in very well there but now this uncanny phenomenon has begun as soon as I think about my past time of university it starts to bother me that I did not miss my home as much as I do now.

Both interviews went well, the main purpose of visiting Islamabad. Now I am waiting for the next call. Need your prayers very much. I shall write again soon and please leave your thoughts about homesickness and your experience with it. Mine has been very different.

13th December (Pouring Rain)

I am in Islamabad and it's soaking in non stop rain. Oldies say that the rain that starts on Thursday continues to drizzle for a full week. Superstitious beliefs? I would not presume on that. But I am thrilled to see this rain because as a desert man I do not get to see rain often.

From Monday to this very day, I am enjoying every second of time which has passed by. On Monday I gave two job interviews; one at Rastgar Engineering Company and one at Haleeb Foods. Both went very well Alhamdolilah. Rastgar people adopted a very unconventional approach for hiring. They are hiring people by an assignment given to candidates and candidates are supposed to come up with a workable marketing plan. Currently I am working on that.

Had a great time with Gulfam as always and later we were invited to a get together at Intermezzo Restaurant by Abdur Rehman Munir. What a quality time we spent as group members and on that dinner. Discussed future prospects and the meeting was adjourned after 2 hours as I had to go to Chak Shahzad at my pal Hassan's place just to spank him at Table Tennis. I must say I was amusingly surprised by his game but my never say never attitude won me the day (night actually)

Then I went to PIDE hostel to meet a classmate and two marketeers Nadeem and Irfan. It felt like university days all again. I had a great time. Although, I got exhausted later at the night yet great 2,3 days. Tomorrow I am going to meet my brother. He currently resides in Attock.

Hope to see you soon again. Until then (khush rahain khhush rakhain)

Pakistani Media

Good were the days when we only had PTV as primary source of entertainment. PTV was one stop shop for news, dramas, sports, and current affair programmes. 90's were good. My words should not be taken as nostalgic expressions 90's were really good in every regard.

Then came the millennium and things got changed drastically. Specially after 9/11 and so called war on terror. Uncle Sam needed an adventure for changing calm environment of world. America backed by corrupt media of the world ran havoc in Muslim world. First Afghanistan gets invaded then Iraq and now Pakistan is on their targets. But you still have to answer the Armageddon you scripted.

All of this madness is some key achievements of spectacular propaganda. This is how media mess with your heads folks. Some wise man said true lines about hypocrisy of media and I am quoting, ''This tube [TV] can make or break presidents, popes, prime ministers. This tube is the most awesome goddamn force in whole godless world. And woe is us if it ever falls into the hands of the wrong people. And when the 12th largest company in the world controls the most awesome goddamn propaganda force in the whole godless world, who knows what shit will be peddled for truth on this network."

Wow! Seems everything was directed towards our recent and forthcoming events. Anyhow, one fellow of mine shared a picture with me. It was taken from HUM TV Drama and actress is Ayesha Omer. This picture rattled me to the last fiber of my body. Geo, Hum, ARY, and other private channels are intoxicating their dirty game in the mind of Pakistani viewers. Now they have targeted us with subliminal bigotry and this worries me a lot.

Shocking!!! Isn't it? What they depicted in picture is one shameful act of psychological warfare. Hollywood excessively has deployed this strategy in their films but because it is on a Pakistani TV this really saddens me. What the hell is going on TV? But nobody seems to notice and nobody seems to care.

I know what they want. They want us to remain at this sleep and accept everything acquiescently they throw at us. They want us to accept everything perfunctorily and they are not stopping at any cost. They are making grueling efforts everyday and they know we are at sleep. Because we are at sleep they have taken over. And that's the fact they count on. "They know the fact that we will probably remain 'willfully' ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dic*s being jammed up in our ass***** everyday."

Please start thinking critically and start asking questions, to yourself and the authorities before they make your life a living pandemonium. May God protect you all.

Job Interview

Dear all, I am having a big interview; well at least on my part it is big, at Rastgar Engineering Company. This company is self-learning and rapidly evolving organization. Mr. Imtiaz Rastgar is spearheading this organization. He is a renowned name in the market for engineering goods marketing and export. In short he is a visionary and innovator of top quality. (if I get the job his description stays)

I appeal my readers to please pray for me. Your prayers mean a lot to me.

A joke

I just made an awesome joke but I didn't find it appropriate to share it on my blog. It's guy funny joke girls can't handle it LOL and many of my followers are girls. But this is going to male friends' mobiles. *Wicked Laughs*

Weekend

Weekend starting *yayness*. Lots of Football plus Manchester Derby. This week is going to be legendary. Arsenal, as the moment look like under spell of some voodoo magic. Nothing is going right for us at the moment but one thing I want to state and that is 'In Arsene We Trust'. As an Arsenal fan I loathe Arsenal greedy board but we gooners have nothing but utmost respect for French bloke.

Waseem Bhai

What a great Cricketer Waseem Akram has been for Pakistan. He remained center of attention mostly for his bowling but I believe he didn't concentrate on his batting much. He definitely was the best all rounder of his time. He equally entertained with his bat as he did with his bowling. Who can forget his towering mid on region sixes?
Now he is center of attention once again with his commentary and commercials. He reintegrated with Ufone a few months back and once again creative team of Ufone mesmerized consumers with their funny yet innovative ideas. Waseem's prison break and Sayein ads were fabulous. Latter ad was viewed 2.5 million times in just ten days.
Waseem appeared once again in a brand new commercial and his performance was of highest order. Why I am writing all this praise for him? I grew up watching him playing Cricket. He definitely is someone whom I regard so much. Samjha Ker!
